Deputy Manager - Residential Childrens Home
Location: Staffordshire/Cheshire
Salary: £28,116 - £31,360 DOE (inclusive of sleeps)

We are currently seeking a Deputy Manageron behalf of our client for a residential childrens home, where you will enter a structured training programme with the goal of becoming a Registered Manager. As a Trainee Registered Manager (TRM), you’ll deputise for the home’s manager while developing the skills and experience needed to step into a leadership role in the future.

About the Role:

As a Deputy Manager, you will work alongside the management team, helping to lead and support a small, dedicated team that provides high-quality care for children with a wide range of emotional and behavioural needs. You’ll be an essential part of creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel cared for and secure.

Your role will involve gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of running a residential home, with a clear path toward Registered Manager responsibilities.

What We Need From You:

  • A passion for supporting children and young people
  • The ability to work effectively in a leadership role within a small team
  • Experience in a care setting, preferably with children or young people with emotional and behavioural needs
  • A desire to develop into a Registered Manager through a structured training programme
  • A recognised qualification in care (Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent, or the willingness to work towards this)
