Healthcare Assistant – Specialist Nursing & Dementia Care (Bourne, Lincolnshire)
Pay Rates: £12.30 – £17.00 per hour
Full-time | Part-time | Bank Shifts | Days | Nights

gap healthcare is recruiting experienced Healthcare Assistants on behalf of a well-established care home located in Bourne, Lincolnshire. This home provides specialist nursing, dementia care, and palliative support for up to 88 adults, including those with complex needs and medical conditions requiring 24-hour nursing input.


About the Role:
You will join a compassionate and professional team delivering person-centred care to residents with dementia and a range of complex health needs. Your duties will include assisting with daily living tasks, supporting mobility, offering companionship, and working closely with nursing staff to provide tailored care.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting adults with dementia and complex medical needs
  • Assisting with personal care, meals, and mobility support
  • Promoting dignity, independence, and respect
  • Following individual care plans and working as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Providing emotional support to residents and their families
  • Supporting end-of-life and respite care

What We’re Looking For:

  • At least 12 months’ experience in a care or nursing home setting
  • A caring, patient, and respectful attitude
  • Confidence working with people with dementia or complex conditions
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to ongoing training and development
